Acrylic

Acrylic conformal coatings provide good flexibility and all round protection. The viscosity can be adjusted easily using thinners, making them very versatile in terms of application method. They generally have fast touch dry times, will cure fully at room temperature, and are easy to remove with solvent if re-work is required. Acrylics are clear and particularly stable in UV light, making them ideal for outdoor applications where long term optical clarity is essential, such as protection of LEDs.

APL, HPA and TFA are acrylics. FSC is a silicone modified acrylic.
